Sire and dam are present only for some two-year-old entries and leading finishers. Origin is generally a suffix or breeder location rather than a discrete country field; age is available instead of a direct foal year.

Storage and verification

Artifacts use FormCrawler/h-artifacts/<year>/CAN/ca_standardbred_canada/; handoffs use FormParser/inbox/H/<year>/CAN/ca_standardbred_canada/.

The 2026-08-08 full test captured a complete 14-meeting entries day and a complete nine-meeting results day: 25 HTTP 200 artifacts, 3,454,032 raw bytes, zero retries/failures, and request gaps from 15.164 to 23.666 seconds. Every raw length, SHA-256, metadata record, and FormParser handoff matched.

Limitations

Historical cards are not retained consistently.
A direct .dat capture uses retrieval date for its artifact event path when the meeting date cannot be safely derived without parsing.
