Acquisition

Heppa supplies first-party JSON at /heppa2_backend/race/search/<start>/<end>/, /race/<date>/<track>/races and /race/<date>/<track>/start/<number>. FormCrawler performs exact inclusive-range discovery, then preserves raw pre/post start JSON. Results are queued only when publication status is present.

Operation and verification

Run scripts\crawl_finnish_heppa_range.bat START_DATE END_DATE [TARGET_LIMIT_PER_DATE]. Härmä 2026-08-07 race 1 passed pre/post readiness at 20,287 bytes. Race JSON exposes stable horse IDs and registration country; public Heppa profiles provide sire, dam and birth/breeding detail but are not scraped by this adapter.

End-to-end crawl verification

On 2026-08-08 an isolated bounded crawl stored the range index, three meeting indexes and one Härmä race pre/post pair (six artifacts; 64,664 bytes). All artifacts and handoffs passed integrity checks. The two-target smoke bound intentionally left 58 discovered targets queued; none failed permanently.
