Acquisition

The public home page https://www.indiarace.com/ exposes deterministic /Home/racingCenterEvent links with venueId, event_date and race_type. RACECARD, RESULTS and TRACKWORK meeting HTML are captured raw. The home index is a list fallback for current published meetings; an arbitrary historical date-range contract is not claimed.

Data findings

Cards show sire/dam names with country suffixes where supplied, age and stable horse-detail links. Results add racing incidents, ratings, margins/times and placings. Trackwork is a supplementary raw artifact. Foal year is derivable from age but FormCrawler does not normalise it.

Operation and verification

Run scripts\crawl_indiarace_current.bat. A current live meeting passed 342,329-byte pre-race and 409,851-byte post-race readiness checks. Bangalore and Hyderabad remain separate implemented Indian sources; Racing Pulse, DRC and RCTC remain documented candidates.

End-to-end crawl verification

On 2026-08-08 an isolated actual current-index crawl stored one discovery page, three pre-race cards, 18 result meetings and six trackwork pages (28 artifacts; 8,269,171 bytes). All artifacts and handoffs passed integrity checks; the queue finished 28/28 captured with no retry or permanent failure.
