Troyen Website — Change Log

Document set version: 0.2.0

v0.3.0 documentation correction — 2026-09-05

  • The local Flask site now renders the original API Documentation: Race Cards v2.0.0 and complete Integration Notes from local JSON, replacing the initial illustrative documentation.
  • Verified exact body-text and table parity with the saved source HTML: 12 tables and 110 field rows. Field names, types, descriptions, examples and source inconsistencies are preserved; only presentation and navigation changed.
  • Added an allowlisted importer, mandatory pre-write content backups, source hashes, original-document navigation and redirects for earlier runners/meetings/races links.
  • The source uses a placeholder API host and contains naming inconsistencies. Its Sample JSON link has no corresponding section; that gap is marked unavailable rather than filled with invented data.
  • All 19 tests pass. Chrome verification confirms the restored tables and Integration Notes navigation. No production deployment or Git push was performed.

v0.2.0 — 2026-09-05

  • Added the versioned tools/capture_reference_site.py utility.
  • Captured the supplied homepage, FAQ, API Documentation, and Integration Notes pages.
  • Captured seven publicly delivered files with zero failures: four HTML pages, the same-origin theme stylesheet, the homepage race-data image, and Cloudflare's public email-decoding script.
  • Added a local manifest containing URLs, content types, byte counts, SHA-256 hashes, external dependency references, and capture results.
  • Documented the recoverable browser-side source and the boundary around unavailable server-side source.
  • Recorded ASP.NET Core MVC/Razor clues, browser dependencies, form integrations, duplicated document shells and form IDs, and the misspelled company-name field.
  • Added focused tests for URL normalization and safe local asset-path generation.
  • Verified three Python tests, capture utility compilation, and manifest integrity.
  • No replacement website implementation or deployment has been completed yet.

v0.1.0 — 2026-09-05

  • Added the standard project directory structure.
  • Added a framework-neutral Python package foundation and import test.
  • Associated the local Git repository with https://github.com/QuantumDataGroup/TroyenWebSite.git.
  • Reviewed the initial Troyen Data homepage and FAQ references.
  • Enabled QDG Knowledge Base documentation for the project.
  • Selected the initial QDG KB pages: Project Description, Change Log, and User Guide.
  • Recorded Troyen Data as the working brand name and identified inconsistent “Troyan Data” wording on the current FAQ.
  • Corrected the initial project setup to Python and removed the unintended Vinext/Node scaffold.
  • Verified the Python foundation with one passing package import and version test.
